Three DeeEVG Construction System - Insulated Concrete Structure
Three Dee is a composite construction system. It consists of 3D Panels - three-dimensional welded wire mesh and a built-in expanded polystyrene insulation core. The panels are erected over steel reinforcing bars embedded in a concrete foundation, then fastened to one another with wire - splice mesh. Concrete is sprayed to both sides of the panels to the desired thickness (40 - 70 mm) giving a total Three Dee wall thickness of typically 150 mm with various types of finishes.
The result is a homogenous structure with excellent thermal and acoustic properties. The concrete cover is a durable, waterproof exterior and provides interior thermal mass. The double shell configuration of the panels minimises sound transmission. The entire structure works effectively to distribute loads and has an extremely high strength to weight ratio.
The Three Dee construction system is used as a total construction system - walls, floors and roofs, it can also be included in other construction systems as a component - curtain walls for steel or concrete structures, in-fill walls, retaining walls, swimming pools, sound barriers on motorways, for commercial and industrial applications, and many more.
